11A - Idea Napkin No.1

1) You. Who you are. What your talents are. What your skills and experiences are? Also: what
are your aspirations? Specifically regarding your business concept, how do you see this
business (if you were to start it) playing a role in your life?
I am Eli Avshara. I have an entrepreneurial spirit with a charismatic charm that entices any
individual in my direction. These skills translate to a motivated and goal oriented employee.
I aspire to become a business owner or take over a business and operate it at optimal
efficiency.

2) What are you offering to customers? Describe the product or service (in other words,
how you'll solve customers' unmet needs).
The service I am offering is an application that will save people years worth of time. For the most part, people have been getting used to waiting long lines because they don't have another choice. My application, Line Cutter, offers the user an option to search any store in his area and check on the current waiting time in order to avoid waiting in line.

3) Who are you offering it to? Describe, in as much detail as possible, the demographic
and psychographic characteristics of your customers. Think especially of this question:
what do your customers all have in common?
Between Davie and Gainesville in Florida, I could say that 4 out of 5 stores will have lines with long waiting times, which means there are customers in all these areas experiencing the frustration of a long line. I believe most people do not like to wait in long lines; therefore, there should be something done to help alleviate this issue.

4) Why do they care? Your solution is only valuable insofar as customers believe its
valuable to them. Here, explain why customers will actually pay you money to use your
product or service.
I don't know many people that enjoy waiting in long lines; thus, I believe that having an application that provides customers the information about the waiting times in a store would be highly marketable and resourceful. This application would be used right after searching for a destination on waze or maps, which would mean it's a very useful app.

5) What are your core competencies? What sets you apart from everyone else? Also:
what do you have that nobody else has?
My company believes in optimizing efficiency in our customers' daily lives in order to open up more time in their to partake in other miscellaneous activities. We are different from everyone else because we offer solutions that affect the customers using the application and the stores themselves. The stores benefit from the application because it helps control the influx of customers coming in and out of the store.

In addition to these five elements, please spend a paragraph evaluating whether you believe
these elements fit together or whether there are aspects of your business concept that are
weaker / out-of-joint with the others.
I believe these five elements provide a solid foundation for my company and will allow me to expand and explore new ways to improve our customers' daily lives.

  1. Hey Eli, I love the concept of your idea, i do think that you would be more successful in a more populated city though, especially one in which people have a higher socio-economic status, because they more money that people have, the more shopping they will do, therefore the longer the lines will be! overall, i think this is great and you have all the information to start this!
