Customer Avatar


What kind of hobbies does your customer have?
1. Shopping
2. Cooking
3. Wine Tasting


What kind of car do they tend to drive? (What color is it?)
1. Honda Minivan
2. Escalade


What TV shows do they watch?
1. Keeping up with the Kardashians
2. CSI
3. Criminal Minds
4. Law and Order
5. Cooking Shows
6. Dr. Phil


Do they have children?
- Yes, most of my customers will


Are any of them adopted?
- Depending on the demographics of the area
- Rich or poor area


What are their favorite books, and who are their favorite politicians?
- Fifty Shades of Grey (Book)
- Donald Trump/Hillary Clinton


How old are they?
- 20-30 years old


How old do they feel? And so on. The richer the detail, the better.
- Depending on how many kids, they said they feel older or younger. If they 1 or no kids they were satisfied and if they had 2 or more they had a little bit more stress in their life.
Part 2


What do you have in common with the customer avatar? If you have anything in common
with the avatar, do you think that is a coincidence? Why?
I go out to shop in stores and I have to wait in ridiculously long lines sometimes.
I don’t really have much in common with the avatar aside from the need to wait in
shorter lines.

  1. Eli, I thought you did a great job describing and creating your avatar. I think this exercise was cool because it really allowed us to put a face with the unmet need that so many people have. Attaching characteristics and personality traits with this need made the need much more concrete and understandable. When you talk about a need and who has a need and all of that information, it is sometimes hard to understand who has a need and why and this exercise definitely made that an easier question to answer. Well done!
